Joseph Pack
Pastor
Joseph Pack began his career in ministry in 2010 serving as a lay minister for youth at a local church in Bowling Green, Virginia. He spent years growing and maturing in his personal faith, learning humility, service, and endurance, before being ordained in the Gospel ministry on July 19, 2020. Since then, he has been dedicated to serving with integrity and honesty, steadfastly following his convictions, and constantly exploring new ways to serve others.
Joseph attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics. He went on to get his Master of Science in Systems Engineering from George Mason University. He has used this technical background as an academic basis to dive deeper into matters of life, faith, and religion. Through selective coursework and theological study, he has gained a deep appreciation for Biblical scholarship and has a particular interest in historical context, hermeneutics, Hebrew parallelism, and often debated theological subjects which can lead to a deeper appreciation in the diversity of the Body of Christ. Joseph believes that understanding the scriptures thematically and structurally aids in applying God's Word to daily life.
Pastor Joseph is bivocational, working as a defense industry engineer in addition to serving at The Well Community Church. He has served as a community leader for civic groups, Boy Scouts, and has volunteered to aid in community services. If he's not working or serving, Joseph can often be found building a PC, cutting new trails in the woods, or practicing at his firing range. Joseph is joined in ministry by his beautiful bride Meredith and two amazing children, Phoebe and Ezra.
